Republicans spent $60 million investigating Whitewater and ultimately determined "that the evidence was insufficient to prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that either President or Mrs. Clinton knowingly participated in any criminal conduct." The Clintons lost between $37,000 and $69,000 and were passive investors in the venture. In the missing file case you mention above, Nussbaum, who took that file, resigned on March 5, 1994 as a result. Who is going to resign from the Bush administration because of this?
