I'd choose him over Bush any day of the week. I pray to God that President Obama presides over the next 8 years, but if we end up with McCain I hope he doesn't veer hard Right like Bush did. Be fair, be independent, be peace-mongering, pay down the debt, be kind to the poor, expect more from the rich. It's not that damn hard. I like McCain, too. I really liked him before he ran for president. He was much more his own person. Last night I found myself feeling sorry for him. There were moments that were so very ackward. Sad to say, but I think his best days are behind him. Imagine where we would be today if Bush wouldn't have completely fucked him over....
