It is really weird right now...it is like the major issues, once again, do not exist.

economy, foriegn policy, NRG, .......Maybe McCain will address issues tonite. I did hear Palin pull away from the right a wee bit last night..... a local radio talk show host went gonzo today talking about Palin "she should be president" was his mantra.....and others calling in in agreement....

It is like everyone is a "pod". The world just met this lady and within 72 hours the right wants her to be the president.? How devoid of real leadership is this country? She did way better than I expected but last night was the easiest speech/situation she will enjoy.

She is quite able to handle herself, and handle herself well, at least in the pandoring pep rally atmosphere of the RNC. Granted, I am biased, but I found her entire performance to be somewhat shallow...short on substance...long on potential john cougar mellencamp lyrics.... however she was most definitely on the offensive and will not bat an eye in a debating situation. Her confidence and poise are solid. I don't buy her point of view on most issues...

I was sickened by the gender card she continued to tout......but she is definitely an opposition of strength.
