Moonlit Nights

The dome is open again. I am always happy when the dome is open. Tonight I am doing M67 again, for some photometric calibration and then a few hours on IY UMa, which is an eclipsing SU UMa-type dwarf nova and it is in outburst. After that, I’m not sure. Perhaps a run on my old buddy GSC 3047-176. The V-band light curve doesn’t seem to phase right, so I wonder if there might be something interesting going on. Might be worth monitoring.

I’m going to start working with a couple of friends on some new/suspected variables. That will be fun.
